My students

Last week was one of my 2nd graders birthday, so we had a little party and I took some pictures. They are so cute.
The one wearing the bday crown is Jana-Martha. The others are students in my second grade reading class. We were eating candy, listening to music and just having a good time.

Snowy pictures

I know it seems so weird I get so excited about the snow, I mean, I am going to see it for like 6 more months, but I love it. I am sure i will be writing in here in about 5 months saying I cant wait for the snow to be gone. Now however, it is beautiful, so I have taken some more pictures and I thought I would share them with you.

Here is the lake, it is so beautiful with the white snow around it. Kerri, Zoey and I walk to the lake a couple times a week.

Here is Zoey after she broke thru the ice to get a drink. It was a funny process, she knew there was water there and she was determined to get a drink. I just had to get a couple pictures of it. I am sure the water was really really cold, but Zoey didnt seem to mind.

Here is a picture of the road, tundra and mountain in the back ground. This is the road heading out of the village toward the lake. Ummm, I think its south.... or maybe west... I am not sure.... lol, I still have not got that figured out yet. LOL

here is the most beautiful mountain. I think its my favorite. It is pretty close to use too, and out away from the village, so you really get to see it well....

I hope you enjoy all of the photos. It is so beautiful here...

Care Packages

Here are some pictures of the great care packages I have received so far. Thank you so much for all of the great stuff.

This package was from Amber and Jason. They sent me all of the vitamins I need. Since my diet is a little different up her Jason helped me pick out some vitamins I may need. I have actually been really good at taking them daily too! Thanks so much guys. Amber also packed a few of my other favorite things and some candy, which is totally awesome.

This is the care package from Dad and PJ. They had all of this stuff packed into 3 boxes. I have not idea how she got it all in there, but she did. Everything is awesome. I have not finished it all yet, but it is nice to have sweet treats and other treats now and then. Thank you so much. I love it all. And PJ was worried I wouldnt like it all... she was wrong.

OK, so Marty has sent me an awesome care package. It was wonderful. Everything in it was great. She also had all of this stuff packed into two boxes. Thank you so much.

I am not sure where she picked up these things.. I have not tied them yet, but when I do, I will let you know how they taste... Robinson must have some strange stores... I always knew that place was weird....

IT is also great to get a CARDINALS fan to send me stuff. I was really thinking she was a cubs fan, but she must have been saved and realized she needed to switch to a better team. So she is now cheering on the Cardinals for me. Thanks so much for the GO CARDS GO poster. I have it hanging on my door.

Thanks so much for everything guys. It is so great.
Miss you all,
love ya

DENALI

Here are some awesome pictures of Denali National Park. We had a great time on the bus tour of Denali. Hope you enjoy the pics. Just incase you didnt know Denali is the home of Mt. McKinley. We did get to see the mountain, but of course we did not go to the mountain that was like a 8 hour bus tour and we only took the 5 hour bus tour. We did hear a little about the mountain though, and it sounded amazing. I did send a book home to Dad and PJ all about the mountain if you see them you may want to ask about the book.

Here are some pictures from the plane on the way home from Fairbanks. It was so awesome. We were able to see the pipeline and some amazing mountains. We also follow along the river so that is great to see out of the plane. The planes are really small. They only hold like 8 or 9 passengers, but I have gotten used to them. I hope you enjoy the pictures.

RANDOM

Here are a couple pics of Kerri and I in Fairbanks during the Labor Day weekend. We had a great time in Fairbanks, we were able to have a couple drinks, do some shopping, and just go out... it was awesome...

Snowy mountain pics

Here are some photos I took of the snowy mountains. they were so amazing, I cant wait until we get more snow, it will be so beautiful. I hope you enjoy them.
